What is Epic Fantasy?

Most commonly it takes place in a made-up world (i.e. Keldarra). We like stories in this genre to be lengthy and immersive in its world building with multiple characters and where the resolution isn't as easily achieved as with a shorter faster-paced book. It may also be referred to as high fantasy, but at Emerentsia Publications we use epic fantasy as a term.
